The axe is named after Gunnar Ekelund, the former owner of Hults Bruk who decided to produce axes in a modern way at a larger scale in 187075. Like all our axes, the Ekelund is hand forged and made from Swedish recycled CO2 neutral steel. The wooden handle is made from American hickory, treated with linseed oil.
